“In her readings of familiar Chopin repertoire, Fliter displays a rare spontaneity, lightness and feeling for subtle nuances. The approach catches the ear instantly and beguiles it with tonal beauty.” (MusicWeek)
An international spotlight focused on Argentinian pianist Ingrid Fliter when she won the 2006 Gilmore Artist Award (USA), only the fifth pianist to have been so honoured.
In her debut album for EMI Classics Ingrid presents Chopin’s powerful B Minor Sonata alongside other famous works such as the “Minute” waltz, Mazurkas and the fourth Ballade.
The repertoire has also been presented as two separate digital EPs, the first released on 21st January; the second releasing in April to coincide with the CD.
