EMI Classics' The Opera Series

Opera has always been an important part of the EMI Classics catalogue. The company's collaborations with the greatest singers and conductors of the day have over the years produced some of the finest recordings of all time and an important legacy for future generations.

Following its successful launch last year The Opera Series features 10 new titles, due for release in June 2007. Highlights of this set are two Alagna/Gheorghiu/Pappano ventures available for the first time at mid-price, a classic Callas recording and Muti’s Ernani now available on 2CDs.
